Talks will be given mostly in Japanese.
Many university students nowadays have various educational backgrounds and a wider range of English proficiency levels. It is essential to look at English proficiency levels from various perspectives in order to provide more effective lessons.
Three young researchers will address recent academic findings and the classroom implications from three angles:
1) Vocabulary, 2) Grammar, and 3) Writing.
Satoru Uchida teaches at Kyushu University.
Yuka Takahashi teaches at Hiroshima University.
Yoji Kudo teaches at Tamagawa University
IN ADDITION, in the morning from 10:30 to 12:00 there will be several talks by Hiroshima University language teachers, concerning recent educational achievements.
